Product Overview The DBD Pressure Relief Valve is a critical safety and pressure-regulating component in any hydraulic circuit. When the system pressure reaches the valve’s set value, the internal poppet opens, allowing excess fluid to return to the tank. This limits the maximum pressure in the system. The direct-acting mechanism guarantees an immediate reaction time, making it ideal for systems with sudden load changes or shock waves.
Available Adjustment Mechanisms:
-
DBDS: Adjustment via a set screw with a protective hexagon cap. Ideal for “set-and-forget” applications where pressure shouldn’t be easily tampered with.
-
DBDH: Adjustment via a rotary hand knob. Perfect for testing environments or machines where operators need to adjust pressure frequently.
-
DBDA: Adjustment via a lockable hand knob with a key. Prevents unauthorized personnel from changing critical safety pressure settings.
Why Choose the DBD Series?
-
High Reliability: The hardened and ground poppet ensures excellent leak-free seating and a long service life.
-
Versatile Integration: Can be installed directly into manifolds (Cartridge type ‘K’), inline with pipes (Threaded type ‘G’), or mounted on standard subplates (Type ‘P’).
-
Wide Pressure Range: Various spring options allow precise pressure setting ranges (e.g., up to 25, 50, 100, 200, 315, or 400 bar).
Common Applications:
-
Power Units: Main system pressure relief.
-
Cylinder Circuits: Shock relief and overload protection.
-
Machine Tools: Clamping pressure regulation.
-
Mobile Hydraulics: Safety valves in construction and agricultural equipment.
